Over Five Dozen New Specialty Sips Announced for 2024 Minnesota State Fair

    August 5, 2024

(KNSI) – The Minnesota State Fair says there will be 63 brand new specialty sips premiering and found exclusively at the 2024 fair.

Cold Spring’s Third Street Brewhouse is well represented and bringing summer’s fresh fruit tastes with it.

The Blueberry Pancake Lager is described as a “fun, breakfast-inspired brew” that “perfectly combines the zing of tart blueberries with a maple sweetness and a smooth malty finish. The playful notes of caramel, brown sugar and blueberry will bring you back to summer mornings at the breakfast table. It can be found at Cafe Caribe, located on the south side of Carnes Avenue between Chambers and Nelson streets.

The Cakewalk Berry Bliss Lager is a “taste of fresh strawberries, creamy vanilla and sweet cake flavors all in one glass. It’s a perfect sippable treat.” Grab one at Coasters which is located on the southeast corner of Carnes Avenue and Liggett Street.

Third Street also presents Sweet Clementine Beer. It’s a light lager brewed with clementines, “resulting in a bright and citrus-forward brew. Zesty, tangy and fruity notes, garnished with a candy peach ring.” Sweet Clementine is at Giggles’ Campfire Grill, located at southeast corner of Lee Avenue and Cooper Street, at The North Woods.

See the full list of new brews here.

Returning this year is the Fair Mullet IPA from Lupulin Brewing in Big Lake. Labeled as “more mullet, more jean jacket and all party,” the fair mullet pairs with fried food, music, people watching, and mullet sightings. Find it at the Ball Park Cafe on the east side of Underwood Street between Dan Patch and Carnes avenues, outside The Garden.

Other returning flavors can be found here.
