KINGSFORD, Mich. (WLUC) – Scholarship money is now available for pick-up at Kingsford High School.
2024 graduates can pick up scholarship checks at the high school office. Graduates were awarded a total of almost $500,000 in scholarships.
Kingsford High School Scholarship Coordinator Jamie Lockhart says having a coordinator helps schools bring in more scholarships.
“I feel fortunate to fill that role,” Lockhart said. “There are a lot of schools that don’t have that, and it leaves it up to the students or the guidance counselors, who are already really busy with other tasks, to fill that role.”
Scholarship checks will be available at the office until September.
