    TORONTO, Aug. 08, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Firm Capital Mortgage Investment Corporation (the “Corporation”) (TSX: FC) is pleased to announce that the Corporation has closed the previously announced bought deal public offering (the “Offering”) of 1,950,000 common shares (the “Shares”) at a price of $11.30 per Share (the “Issue Price”) for gross proceeds of $22,035,000 with a syndicate of underwriters bookrun by TD Securities Inc. and CIBC Capital Markets, and including Canaccord Genuity Corp., National Bank Financial Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., Raymond James Ltd., Desjardins Securities Inc., iA Private Wealth Inc. and Ventum Financial Corp. The Corporation has granted the underwriters an over-allotment option to purchase up to an additional 292,500 common shares, exercisable in whole or in part at any time for a period of up to 30 days following today’s closing.

    The net proceeds of the Offering will be used by the Corporation to repay indebtedness.
