    • Excelsior Correspondent
      JAMMU, Aug 10: Stephens International Public School (SIPS) held a programme for the session 2024-25 here today. The event was graced by Monika Kohli, Senior Additional Advocate General, and B.R. Kundal, former Chief Secretary, alongside the school’s Chairman, Dr. Kamal Saini, IGP (Retd.), Director Satvinder Saini and Trustee Advocate Kunal Saini. Principal Dr Manjari Sehgal, Vice Principal Shweta Bakshi, Headmistress Khushboo Shaminotra, staff and students were also present.
      The ceremony featured the induction of the newly elected Student Council. The Principal administered the oath to the council members, including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Vice Head Boy, Vice Head Girl, Discipline Captain, Sports Captain, Cultural Captain, and House Prefects. The dignitaries adorned the students with badges and sashes, signifying their roles as school leaders.
      The event also saw the release of the school’s annual magazine, “Illumination,” for the 2023-24 session. A motivational dance by students added to the celebration. The new council members engaged in an interactive session with the special guests, who encouraged them to embrace leadership with humility and strive for excellence. The event concluded with the recital of the National Song.
