Some Wisconsin farmers and small businesses were included in new investments into the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Partners Network.
The Rural Partners Network was launched in April of 2022 by the Biden-Harris Administration to ensure people in historically underserved communities received their fair share of federal funding.
This, in turn, has led to over $1 billion being given to these communities for economic development projects.
This round of investments is no different, and for Wisconsin, numerous farmers and businesses will install clean energy technologies.
These installations will help them become more energy efficient, saving thousands of dollars each year.
Additionally, funding will also help increase the amount of renewable fuel sold in the state at gas pumps by over 2 million gallons each year.
