    HBM Healthcare Investments AG est une société de capital-risque basée en Suisse qui investit dans des entreprises émergentes, principalement dans les secteurs de la biotechnologie, de la médecine humaine, du diagnostic et de la technologie médicale. La société se concentre sur les sociétés non cotées, les deux tiers des actifs étant investis dans des sociétés privées qui offrent un fort potentiel de création de valeur. En tant que société holding, elle est impliquée dans l’acquisition, la cession et la gestion d’un portefeuille diversifié, ainsi que dans le financement et le soutien des entreprises du portefeuille en tant que partenaire clé. Elle se concentre sur les entreprises dont les produits sont à un stade avancé de développement ou déjà disponibles sur le marché. Les principales zones d’investissement sont l’Europe occidentale et les États-Unis. Le portefeuille de la société comprend environ 25 entreprises. Au 31 mars 2012, la société comptait six filiales en propriété exclusive, dont trois filiales aux îles Caïmans, deux filiales basées à la Barbade et une filiale aux États-Unis.
