The Andhra Pradesh government has inked investment deals worth ₹13 lakh crore in two days at the CII Partnership Summit, from November 14 to 15 here, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said.
“In the 16 months of our government, we secured ₹8.87 lakh crore investment. In the last two days, we inked MoUs for ₹13 lakh crore worth projects. We have crossed the ₹20-lakh crore mark in aggregate investments to the State so far,” Naidu said, while exchanging MoUs for various projects across sectors for projects in the Sri City involving a total investment of ₹31,450 crore.
The government was aiming at a total investment of $500 billion, he said.
Earlier today, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone virtually for three projects of the Raymond Group involving a total investment of ₹1202 crore.
The projects include Silver Spark Apparel at Ratpadu (₹497 cr), auto components and aerospace components manufacturing plants in Anantapur district with investments of ₹441 cr and ₹262 cr , respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said all three projects will start operations by December 2027.
