A property investment firm has bolstered its books with a retail base deal.
Town Centre Securities has bought 68–69 Marylebone High Street, in London.
Bosses at the Leeds-based company say the move offers “value-add potential (and) opportunities to capture higher rental levels in the immediate future”.
The property includes two ground and basement retail units, let to women’s fashion retailer Ganni and eyewear brand Moscot.
It also features three two-bedroom residential apartments.
Jacob Ziff, Town Centre Securities’ associate investment director, said: “This acquisition demonstrates our continued confidence in London’s prime retail neighbourhoods and our ability to identify assets with strong fundamentals and opportunities for value creation.
“Marylebone High Street is one of the city’s best-performing retail destinations.
“We are excited to play a part in its ongoing success.”
Ben Simpson, of Green & Partners, acted for Town Centre Securities on the deal.
