The scheme will invest in a portfolio of small-cap equity mutual funds rather than directly in stocks. According to the fund house, the FoF will seek to diversify its exposure across small-cap fund managers with different investment styles, factors and downside behaviour.
The scheme can allocate up to 100% of its assets to small-cap equity managers, with the fund house positioning it as a higher-risk investment option intended for investors with a longer investment horizon.
A fund of funds allows investors to gain exposure to multiple underlying mutual fund schemes through a single fund. The FoF manager is responsible for selecting and allocating across the underlying funds and rebalancing the portfolio, subject to the scheme’s investment mandate.
WhiteOak Capital said the multi-manager approach is intended to reduce dependence on the performance of any single small-cap fund and provide diversified exposure within the segment. The fund house said the scheme is designed for investors with a high risk appetite and an aggressive growth objective.
Ashish Agrawal, Bhavin Patadia and Nikunj Sampat will manage the scheme.
WhiteOak Capital AMC is part of the WhiteOak Capital group, founded by Prashant Khemka. The group had assets under management of ₹1,27,451 crore as of August 31, 2026, according to the fund house.
