Norfolk people win £1m in April’s Premium Bonds draw

    April 1, 2026

But they were not the only people to get lucky.

A total of 342 people across the county scooped a share of £1,134,000, averaging £3,325 each.

Three others bagged £50,000 and eight won £25,000.

Nine people won £10,000, 19 won £5,000 and hundreds more received £1,000.

Last month, 369 people won a share of £1,919,000 – with £1,000,000 going to just one person.

Premium Bonds are an investment product from National Savings & Investments (NS&I).

Unlike other investments, where investors earn interest or a regular dividend income, bonds are entered into a monthly prize draw where people can win between £25 and £1m.

Andrew Westhead, NS&I retail director, said: “The quickest way to check if you have won a prize is to use our Premium Bonds prize checker app, check online, or even ask Alexa from the second working day of each month onwards.”
