    BlackRock cote en Europe un nouvel ETF sur l’indice S&P500

    Le S&P 500 sous toutes les coutures. Après les ETF sur l’indice phare de la cote américaine excluant les grandes capitalisations, ceux prenant seulement le Top 20 ou encore ceux étant équipondérés, BlackRock lance une nouvelle forme de décorticage de l’indice. Le gérant américain annonce la cotation en Europe du iShares S&P 500 3% Capped UCITS ETF (SP3C), « qui offre aux investisseurs une exposition équilibrée aux 500 plus grandes sociétés américaines avec une plus grande diversification des émetteurs et des secteurs.»

    BlackRock revendique le fait qu’il s’agit du premier ETF plafonné en Europe, qui suit les performances de l’indice S&P 500 3 % plafonné, c’est-à-dire qu’il est composé des sociétés du S&P 500, mais de telle sorte qu’aucune société n’a une pondération supérieure à 3 % de l’indice lors de chaque rééquilibrage trimestriel. Les pondérations excédentaires sont redistribuées aux participations restantes en fonction de leur capitalisation boursière respective afin de refléter les caractéristiques fondamentales d’un indice pondéré en fonction de la capitalisation boursière.

    « SP3C constitue une innovation opportune pour aider les investisseurs européens à personnaliser leur exposition aux actions américaines. Combinant les avantages d’une plus grande diversification des actions et des secteurs, SP3C vise à doter les investisseurs d’une boîte à outils simple pour naviguer sur le marché des actions d’aujourd’hui.», commente Manuela Sperandeo, responsable des produits iShares pour l’Europe et le Moyen-Orient chez BlackRock.
