    La Chine envisage d’ouvrir son marché des ETF aux teneurs de marché occidentaux

    La Chine envisage d’autoriser des sociétés occidentales telles que Citadel Securities et Jane Street à agir en tant que teneurs de marché dans le secteur des fonds ETF, selon Reuters. Ce marché représente près de 520 milliards de dollars.

    Les autorités chinoises ont délivré plusieurs agréments au cours des deux dernières années, encourageant le développement des teneurs de marché nationaux. Dans ce contexte, l’arrivée d’acteurs internationaux, qui ont davantage d’expérience dans la fourniture de liquidités aux ETF, permettrait d’améliorer l’efficacité des transactions et de réduire les coûts. Or, l’escalade de la guerre commerciale avec les États-Unis, qui a vu la Chine frappée par des droits de douane de 145 % cette année, pourrait retarder le feu vert officiel de Pékin pour les entreprises américaines, selon Reuters.

    Citadel Securities et Jane Street, deux des plus grandes sociétés de teneurs de marché aux États-Unis, ainsi qu’Optiver, dont le siège est à Amsterdam, pourraient être les premiers à bénéficier de l’ouverture du marché.
