The Airedale Hospital and Community Charity event, at East Riddlesden Hall, raised £11,130.
There was a three-course meal, raffle and silent auction.
The event marked the charity’s 30th anniversary.
Proceeds are for the Emergency Department Appeal, which aims to raise £150,000.
It will fund improvements to various areas of the Airedale Hospital department including the paediatric waiting space and resuscitation area, and bereavement suite.
Nicky Denbow, emergency department matron, says: “I would like to thank everyone who attended Airedale Hospital and Community Charity’s anniversary ball. Thank you for showing your support for our appeal and for making a difference.
“We’re that much closer to reaching the target now thanks to people’s continued backing.
“On behalf of my colleagues working in the emergency department every day, thank you.”
Headline sponsor was Robertson Construction Yorkshire and East Midlands, and a host of businesses gave their support.
Jodie Hearnshaw, the charity manager, says: “Sincere thanks go to our sponsors, suppliers and attendees for making this incredible event happen. Because of your generosity, we’ve been able to raise a significant amount towards our Emergency Department Appeal whilst celebrating this wonderful milestone.
“We’re now less than £22,000 away from reaching our £150,000 target and we are working really hard to reach that goal by the end of 2025. We have some exciting festive plans coming up that will be shared with our communities very soon, so please get involved if you can. Every penny that we raise goes back into supporting patients that use services provided by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.”
Jonathan Sizer, regional managing director of Robertson Construction Yorkshire and East Midlands, says: “Having worked closely with Airedale NHS Foundation Trust on the delivery of high-quality projects, we’ve seen first-hand the meaningful impact its dedicated charity makes.
“It’s a pleasure to continue supporting Airedale Hospital and Community Charity in all that it does. Being headline sponsor of its anniversary ball was a real privilege and we had a great time celebrating three decades of the charity’s vital contribution to patients, staff and the wider community.”
Airedale Hospital & Community Charity is the official charitable arm of the NHS foundation trust.
It raises funds to enhance patient care and employee wellbeing, providing items and services that are above and beyond NHS provision.
