Otter Tail County is encouraging local organizations to apply for Opioid Settlement Funds to help combat opioid and substance misuse. The county is offering up to $400,000 in the first round of funding, with community organizations able to apply for up to $50,000 each year for two years.
Organizations applying need to show clear goals for their projects that match the Opioid
Settlement Fund purpose of saving lives and tackling the opioid crisis.
In this first round, the focus will be on projects related to prevention, and treatment and recovery. The application deadline is August 30, 2024.
Organizations selected will enter into a grant agreement that is expected to begin Jan. 1, 2025, and continue through Dec. 31, 2026.
