Fairfield Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Investigators with State Law Enforcement Division say Darrel President is charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent.
According to authorities, between May of 2022 and July of 2023 President, who was at the time the executive director of a non-profit building the Greenbriar Resource Community Development Center, took $44,220 from the group’s funds obtained through state grants.
When the withdrawals were discovered, SLED says President initially agreed to pay the funds back but ultimately it was discovered he used the funds for his own personal enrichment.
Officials say President was booked into the Fairfield Co. Detention Center.
