Arnold Clark expands brand footprint with BMW, Mini and GWM site investments

    July 30, 2025

Arnold Clark is pushing ahead with significant brand investments across the UK, unveiling a newly refurbished BMW and Mini showroom in Inverness while also opening two new GWM branches in England.

The dual developments highlight the group’s strategy to strengthen its retail presence across premium and emerging brands.

The BMW and Mini site in Inverness on Longman Road has been transformed into a Retail.Next facility.

The upgraded location features contemporary showroom layouts, new workshop bays and customer lounges.

The site is one of only two Retail.Next showrooms in Scotland, following the brand’s Glasgow opening.

Callum Rankin, group brand director at Arnold Clark, said: “Our new Retail.Next showroom provides an intimate, boutique-style experience and reflects our commitment to innovation, luxury and service excellence.”

    Arnold Clark expands with GWM

The group is also expanding its partnership with GWM, launching new branches in Hexham, Northumberland, and Workington, Cumbria.

The new locations will offer the new hybrid-powered Haval Jolion Pro SUV and the all-electric ORA 03.

The expansion comes as GWM consolidates its UK branding under a single name.

Formerly known as GWM Ora, the company is now simply GWM, with plans to introduce more models to the UK market over the coming months.
