    30 equity mutual funds offer over 20% CAGR in 3 and 5-year horizons

    Around 30% equity mutual funds have offered over 20% CAGR in the last three and five-year horizons. There were around 197 schemes that have completed five years of existence in the market.

    Bandhan Core Equity Fund delivered over 20% CAGR in the mentioned periods. The scheme gave 22.74% and 20.06% CAGR in the last three and five years respectively. Edelweiss Mid Cap Fund delivered more than 20% CAGR in both horizons. Franklin India Smaller Companies Fund also featured in the list of schemes that delivered over 20% CAGR in both the horizons.

    There were around six schemes from HDFC Mutual Fund. HDFC ELSS Tax saver gave .66% and 20.31% CAGR in three and five years respectively. HDFC Mid-Cap Opportunities Fund, the largest mid cap fund, gave 26% and 24.19% CAGR in the said periods respectively.

    ICICI Prudential Large & Mid Cap Fund and ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund delivered over 20% CAGR in the mentioned time periods.

    Mahindra Manulife Mid Cap Fund offered 22.60% and 22.66% CAGR in the last three and five years respectively. There were four funds from Nippon India Mutual Fund. The largest small cap fund based on assets managed, Nippon India Small Cap Fund, delivered over 20% CAGR in the said periods.

    Three schemes from Quant Mutual Fund – Quant Large & Mid Cap Fund, Quant Mid Cap Fund, and Quant Small Cap Fund – offered over 20% CAGR in the mentioned time periods.

    SBI Contra Fund, the largest and oldest contra fund, gave 22.98% and 27.55% CAGR in the last three and five years respectively. SBI Long Term Equity Fund, the oldest ELSS fund, also delivered more than 20% CAGR in the mentioned periods.

    UTI Large & Mid Cap Fund gave 20.86% CAGR in the last three years and 21.24% CAGR in the last five years.
