    SBI Mutual Fund launches Income Plus Arbitrage Active FOF

    SBI Mutual Fund has launched the SBI Income Plus Arbitrage Active Fund of Fund (FOF). This is an open-ended fund that invests in a mix of actively managed debt-oriented and arbitrage mutual fund schemes.

    The New Fund Offer (NFO) opens on April 23, 2025, and closes on April 30, 2025.

    The scheme follows a Fund of Fund structure. It will invest in mutual fund schemes of SBI Mutual Fund and/or other mutual funds.

    The investment objective is to generate regular income and capital appreciation. The scheme does not guarantee achievement of this objective.

    The scheme will invest 50–65% in debt-oriented schemes and 35–50% in arbitrage mutual fund schemes. It may also invest up to 5% in money market instruments, triparty repo, reverse repo, and cash equivalents.

    The benchmark index is a blend of 65% Nifty Composite Debt Index and 35% Nifty 50 Arbitrage Index.

    The minimum application amount is ₹5,000, with additional investments allowed in multiples of ₹1,000. SIP options are available on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual frequencies.

    Ardhendu Bhattacharya will manage the fund. He has been with SBI Mutual Fund since April 2019 and manages several debt and hybrid schemes.

    SBI Mutual Fund is the largest fund house in India, with assets under management of over ₹10 lakh crore. The fund house is a joint venture between State Bank of India and Amundi Asset Management.
