Anthony Joshua buys Oman’s most expensive penthouse as Brit expands property portfolio before Jake Paul fight

    December 18, 2025

ANTHONY JOSHUA has expended his property portfolio by purchasing Oman’s most expensive penthouse – days before fighting Jake Paul.

The former two-time unified heavyweight champion goes into the December 19 bout as the overwhelming favourite.

And while he fully intends to provide a knockout blow in the ring, he has found that big hit – worth £1.2million – in the property market outside it.

AJ has splashed the cash to secure the 15,300 sq ft penthouse, the Sky Palace, in the new Park Lane 101 development in Sultan Haitham City.

The purchase marks a first investment in Oman and it will see the 36-year-old become both a resident and investor in phase two of the Yenaier Residences development which is due to be completed by mid 2027.

AJ has already built an impressive reputation beyond the ring as a property investor and this is his latest venture in the market.

The penthouse features 360-degree panoramic views and it comes with a private boxing gym custom built to AJ’s specifications.

It is reported that it also comes with a dedicated spa and custom-designed interiors to provide that extra piece of luxury.

Joshua has revealed his is “proud” with his latest venture and his work inside and outside of the ring is down to “long-term thinking”

He said: “Discipline, community, and long-term thinking have shaped everything I do in and out of the ring. Yenaier represented those same principles.

“I am proud to be an early investor in what will become a truly world-class address.”

Dr Aadil Alexander, CEO of Adanté Realty, added: “Our partnership with AJ is symbolic of the development’s global trajectory.

“He shares our belief in long-term value and thoughtful urban design and strategic support strengthens our commitment to deliver a landmark neighbourhood that elevates Sultan Haitham City on the global stage.”

Joshua has a growing property empire, bought with the money he has made in the ring – estimated to be around £200million.

AJ has spent his wealth wisely on property investments, including this retail space in Bond Street
12-16 Dering Street is also part of AJ’s commercial property portfolio

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua – latest reaction

Jake Paul down four times before Anthony Joshua wins

Anthony Joshua beat Jake Paul in a Netflix superfight in Miami – but viewing fans were not impressed with what they saw.

The two-time heavyweight champion was expected to steamroll the former YouTuber but it took him SIX rounds to get rid of the game American.

Paul was down four times in the fight but fans, commentators and even the referee criticised the pair for a lack of action and punches thrown.

Joshua called out Tyson Fury after the fight while Paul revealed he had suffered a gruesome broken jaw.

The former Olympic champ bought commercial buildings in Mayfair and Bond Street – the latter for a whopping £25m.

His latest acquisition was a £35m property on Baker Street, central London,

Through his company 258 Investments he has also acquired two residential homes in North London, and is said to own three homes in his native Watford worth £1.5m.

Joshua also dropped £30m on a 301,000 square foot property in Hertfordshire, which was previously the HQ for oil giant BP.

As the fight moves closer and closer, we told you earlier about a new RULE CHANGE just hours before both men take to the ring.

Eddie Hearn has revealed the major stipulation that means AJ can’t weigh more than 245lbs for the Miami melee.

The Problem Child has also got AJ to agree to fight in a bigger ring than usual with the battle taking place in a 22x22ft arena.

The bout marks Joshua’s first outing since his brutal fifth-round KO loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley last September.

Meanwhile, Paul was last in action in June when he defeated former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr via unanimous decision.
