Property to become ‘flagship’ offices for accountants following sale

    October 27, 2025

Woodland House, part of the Woodland Park development in Cleckheaton, has been sold by Parker and Parker Investments for £2m.

The sale of the 17,895 sq ft property was brokered by the Leeds office of global property consultancy, Knight Frank.

Woodland House has been acquired by KJA Group Chartered Accountants.

Victoria Harris, associate with Knight Frank’s office agency department in Leeds, who advised Parker and Parker Investments, said: “This is a significant deal, underlining that the out-of-town office agency and investment market in West Yorkshire is still active and resilient, despite challenging economic circumstances.

“There’s no doubt that and well-located office buildings remain attractive investments, provided the price is right. Woodland House falls firmly into this category. It was very satisfying to complete this important transaction in conjunction with our client.”

Chris Parker, of Parker and Parker Investments, added: “We appointed the Leeds office of Knight Frank to handle this sale because of their excellent reputation and we are pleased that their experience and expertise has proved invaluable, helping us to find a buyer for our flagship building.”

Raza Effendi, of KJA Group, said: “We are happy to have acquired such a prestigious office building. Being located at Woodland House will enable us to better serve our growing client base in the region and beyond.

“We thank Knight Frank for their assistance in making the acquisition possible.”

The Leeds office of Carter Towler is the joint marketing agent for Woodland House and Bradford-based Mark Brearley and Company acted for KJA.
