Ally Love and Contigo connect hydration, style, and simplicity with each sip, intervi

    August 28, 2024

While many people make Sundays with Love part of their active lifestyle routine, that workout is better enjoyed when the mind and body are well-hydrated to receive that message. Even with that stacked hydration station, stylish, functional, and adaptive containers make grabbing and sipping that beverage more enjoyable. As Contigo’s new Chief Hydration Officer, Ally Love has created the perfect collection that has everyone ready to raise a glass and sip all day long.

When Ally Love shares her thoughts, people listen. It is more than getting people moving through exercise. Her approachable, relatable advice just makes sense. Whether it is seeing her on the Pelton screen, Today Show segment, or other appearances, she feels like the girlfriend who always knows what to say in the moment.

As part of her announcement as Contigo’s new Chief Hydration Officer, I was able to chat with Ally about her Contigo collection, this new role, and why stylish water bottles can help people to keep on sipping.

When asked what drew Ally to this Contigo partnership, she was very clear. It was all about authenticity. She specifically stated that is a concept that she practices in everything that she does.

Ally said, “I honestly love who I am because I am always a work in progress and it is something that I talk about on my platform.” While Contigo translates to “with you,” that idea of working with a company to create approachable, accessible, and fashionable water bottles aligns with her personal approach.

Speaking specifically about accessibility, Ally explained, “accessibility in terms of water bottles, it is about durability, leak proof, fun features and functionality. Additionally, it should be at a price point that many of us can afford.” Combining all those aspects together was really important for her.

While Ally often focuses on being a catalyst of change, she appreciates that being the Contigo’s first Chief Hydration Officer is more than just encouraging people to grab a bottle, drink, refill, and repeat. It is about finding a bigger purpose in and around sipping.

Ally shared, “in terms of the conversation around hydration and the importance of amplifying that, you want to take those small things and see how they have a bigger impact. For example, when you are hydrated, you’re less foggy, less temperamental. It is important to recognize how hydration impacts how we feel.”

    Ally Love for Contigo

In her own daily grind, drinking water is not necessarily always top of mind, which is why she started the concept “hydration station” and talks about it openly in her Peloton classes. It is more than drinking when that thirst appears.

As Ally explained, “visibility is key. Something eye-catching is a visual reminder to hydrate. A water bottle that aligns with your style can be that motivating factor.”

When Ally collaborated with Contigo, the water bottles fit into her world both stylistically and functionally. First and foremost, she was emphatic that the water bottles fit with Pelton equipment. Everyone knows how disheartening it can be for a bottle to not fit in the holder, roll-around, or otherwise impede a workout.

Second, Ally focused on accessibility. Form and function need to go hand in hand. How that bottle fits in your hand, is it easy to grab, and is it easy to drink from are all key aspects to the design.

With her line of water bottles, there is a textural grip component that makes it easy to grab. Sometimes, the little details make all the difference between a beloved water bottle and one that rarely comes off the shelf.

Lastly, the design is all about having some fun. While Ally admitted that she is in her cowgirl era, it is more than just a fleeing fashion connection. She admitted that her childhood nickname was “moo.”

While that family term of endearment might not be shouted during a Peloton class, she sees that connection between her past, present and future. Grabbing a fashionable and functional water bottle that helps her keep her optimum hydration is key for her busy lifestyle.

From her signature pop of orange to twists on that cow-print design, the Contigo water bottles from Ally Love make a statement. They are bold, energetic, and approachable. When fashion meets function, the choice is simple.

Ready to grab a bottle and put hydration into that personal routine? Ally Love and Contigo have the first paragraph to that authentic story of choosing a balanced, fulfilling lifestyle.
