    CI Foodie: 6 new restaurants to try around Greater Houston

    1. Copa Sips & Latin Tapas

    Located in Vintage Park, this restaurant serves Latin-inspired tapas—such as Argentinian empanadas, Peruvian ceviche and Brazilian fried shrimp bunuelos—as well as cocktails, wine and beer. Customers can also enjoy live Latin music while dining on Copa’s outdoor patio.

    2. Maven at Sawyer Yards

    The group behind the recently opened Maven Coffee + Cocktails on Allen Parkway also opened an urban dining and cocktail patio concept in Sawyer Yards. The kitchen produces contemporary American fare with a Spanish touch through a menu created by chef Nicolás “Nico” Baizan de Aldecoa. Entrees will include a spicy rigatoni with Manchego cheese, steak au poivre, and pork belly with saffron, miso and dates.

    The Austin-based burger joint debuted its first Houston-area restaurant in Richmond, with plans to expand its footprint in the region with four more locations through 2027. The restaurant sells hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers and a selection of sides, such as hand-cut fries, banana bread and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Customers can also order fresh-squeezed juices or milkshakes at the retro-style eatery.

    The Montgomery-area restaurant’s flagship is located in The Woodlands. It offers a variety of Italian dishes such as shrimp scampi, eggplant parmigiana and beef ravioli al pesto.

    5. Hash Kitchen

    The brunch restaurant will serve pancakes, souffle cakes, salads, French toast, waffles, chilaquiles, hash brown-focused dishes, breakfast sandwiches and eggs Benedict, among other menu items, according to the business’s website.

    6. Good Vibes Coastal Cantina

    The restaurant fuses coastal flavors with the flair of Mexican cuisine, according to its website. The menu offers a variety of seafood proteins, such as redfish, octopus, tuna and oysters. The menu also features Tex-Mex options, including birria nachos, shrimp tacos and fajitas, elotes and coconut tres leches, per the business’s website.
