Sauce Magazine – Delmar Maker District, WellBeing Brewing launch sober sips series on Thursdays

    July 8, 2024

St. Louis-based NA craft beer company and budding business district aim to be more inclusive to non-drinkers

    By Jessica Rogen // July 8, 2024

We’ve all heard that the latest trend in drinking is not drinking — not drinking alcohol that is. And St. Louis has long seemed ahead of that trend with a plethora of nonalcoholic drink options that prove that alcohol isn’t necessary for a good sip.

The latest venue for the trend comes thanks to a partnership between the Delmar Maker District and WellBeing Brewing, a local NA craft beer company that launched in 2017. Every Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., St. Louisans can head to MADE Makerspace at 5127 Delmar Blvd. for a sober social happening.

The series will include frosty NA WellBeing brews, seltzers, sodas, tonics and coffee. The point of the new series is to be inclusive.

“Whether you’re in recovery, sober-curious, or sober that day, you’re welcome!” the District wrote on Instagram.

The Delmar Maker District also hosts a regular Third Friday block party that includes food, drink, live music, a market and demonstrations from its various constituents such as glass demos from Third Degree and more.
