Sip Fresh Announces New Franchise Agreement in Denver Market

    July 24, 2024

Sip Fresh, the breakthrough specialty beverage retailer renowned for its fresh fruit-based juices, teas, and handcrafted smoothies, is seeing exponential growth. The California-born brand is moving to the Rocky Mountains, breaking into Colorado, and leveraging the state’s business-friendly environment and vibrant public spaces to capture the taste buds of thirsty consumers.

Sip Fresh announced a new development deal, in the Denver region, with entrepreneurial couple and multi-generational franchisees, Katie and Chase Vettese.  This accomplished couple sees the massive potential to bring Sip Fresh and the company’s array of fresh fruit juice and smoothie beverage options to the Colorado market.  Targeting Class-A locations, this first Rocky Mountain location will reside in a prime shopping destination where locals frequently congregate.

“Our family has always dreamed of owning a business, and the beverage industry is a lucrative place to be,” said Katie. “The Vettese’s were specifically drawn to Sip Fresh’s strong business model, simple operations and inspiring and supportive leadership team. “The Sip Fresh model allows us the structure and flexibility to pursue our business ownership aspirations while continuing to cultivate a fulfilling family life.  Our goal is to take this outstanding beverage concept and grow it to its fullest potential. We are excited to bring Sip Fresh to Colorado!  Our community is filled with health-conscious, active consumers who will love these fresh fruit juices and smoothies. There’s nothing quite like Sip Fresh here, and I’m confident the community will embrace this unique concept just as enthusiastically as we do.”

Chase has extensive experience in the franchise industry. Growing up, Chase’s family owned Wetzel Pretzels and Cold Stone Creamery locations where he played a crucial role in the development, training, and management of these locations, gaining extensive knowledge of operating mall-based franchise concepts. Katie, an experienced professional whose career experience was honed at notable companies like Enterprise Rental Car, Indeed, and Zillow, will bring a plethora of skills in staffing management, customer service, and real estate to their Colorado location.

“We are excited to welcome Katie and Chase to the Sip Fresh family,” said Sharon Arthofer, CEO of Sip Fresh.  “This power couple will bring their franchise experience and entrepreneurial spirit to launch our first store in the Colorado market – and we are thrilled!”

This announcement comes after several other multi-unit deals throughout California, and Florida and is an exciting milestone for the brand as it expands from the West Coast, across the Sunbelt, and now to the East Coast.

A nod to the brand’s business model, Sip Fresh was recently listed on QSR magazine’s 2023 “40/40 America’s Hottest Startup Fast Casuals” list which recognizes 40 fast casual brands with fewer than 40 locations that are “on the verge of something big. As the brand continues to grow across the nation, Sip Fresh is looking to leverage its prime market share in high-traffic hot spots from California, Arizona, and across the Sunbelt with a strong interest in the southern region.
