Tata AIA launches Health SIP insurance plan combines with wealth creation

    August 26, 2025

Tata AIA Life Insurance today launched Health SIP, a unit-linked health insurance plan that combines health coverage with wealth creation opportunities.

The company simultaneously introduced Health Buddy, a 24×7 virtual health companion accessible through its mobile app.

The Health SIP plan eliminates premium allocation charges and offers maturity boosters to enhance long-term fund value.

Policyholders can make tax-free withdrawals from the sixth policy year for health-related expenses. The product includes critical illness protection with premium lock-in periods of up to 30 years.

Two variants are available: Health SIP Plus with Accidental Total and Permanent Disability benefits, and Health SIP Plus Pro, which adds Terminal Illness with Term Booster coverage for enhanced protection.

Health Buddy provides round-the-clock access to preventive health check-ups, women’s healthcare support, dental consultations, and consultations with over 24 medical specialties. The service also offers diagnostic discounts, medical second opinions, and fitness guidance.

Sanjay Arora, Chief of Operations at Tata AIA, described Health Buddy as India’s first 24×7 health and wellness companion from a life insurer. The service will be available across multiple Tata AIA product lines.

Tata AIA reported total premium income of ₹31,484 crore for FY25, representing 23 per cent growth from the previous year. The company ranks among the top three private insurers in Individual Weighted New Business Premium.
