    Top 5 Large and Mid Cap Mutual Funds in 10 Years: Large and mid cap mutual funds invest at least 70 per cent of their amount in India’s top 250 companies combined. It provides them substantial exposure to a variety of companies in terms of businesses, market capitalisations, and sectors. These companies may go through ups and downs, but in the long term, most of them are likely to register a good level of growth. This provides large and mid cap mutual funds much strength to shine in the long run. In this write-up, we take you through the top 5 large and mid cap mutual funds with highest SIP returns in 10 years. Also know how a Rs 12,500 monthly SIP investment in each of them has performed in the 10-year time frame. 

    Invesco Large and Mid Cap Fund- Direct Plan – Growth

    The fund at No. 1 has given a 20.23 per cent annualised SIP return in 10 years.

    It has an asset under management (AUM) of Rs 7,273.57 crore, while its net asset value as on July 9, 2025, was Rs 119.41.

    Benchmarked against Nifty LargeMidcap 250 TRI, the fund has given 18.78 per cent annualized return (CAGR) since its inception in January 2013.

    With an expense ratio of 0.68, the fund has Rs 500 as the minimum SIP investment and Rs 1,000 as the minimum lump sum investment.

    A Rs 12,500 monthly investment in the fund in the 10-year period, or a Rs 15,00,000, overall investment, has grown to Rs 48,51,471.74.
     

    Bandhan Large and Mid Cap Funds- Direct Plan – Growth

    The fund has given a 19.79 per cent annualised SIP return in the 10-year time frame.

    It has an asset under management (AUM) of Rs 9,107 crore, while its net asset value as on July 9, 2025, was Rs 155.92.

    Benchmarked against Nifty Large Midcap 250 TRI, the fund has given 16.53 per cent annualised return since its start in January 2013.

    With an expense ratio of 0.56, the fund has Rs 500 as the minimum SIP investment and Rs 1,000 as the minimum lump sum investment.

    A Rs 12,500 monthly investment in the fund in 10 years has jumped to Rs 47,14,937.59.

    ICICI Prudential Large & Mid Cap Fund- Direct Plan – Growth 

    The fund has given a 19.75 per cent annualised return in the 10-year period.

    It has an asset under management (AUM) of Rs 21,657 crore, while its net asset value as on July 9, 2025, was Rs 1,126.13.

    Benchmarked against Nifty Large Midcap 250 TRI, the fund has given 17.16 per cent annualised return since its launch in January 2013.

    With an expense ratio of 0.77, the fund has Rs 500 as the minimum SIP investment and Rs 5,000 as the minimum lump sum investment.

    A Rs 12,500 monthly investment in the fund in the 10-year time frame 10 years has ballooned to Rs 47,02,745.44.

    Quant Large and Mid Cap Fund – Direct Plan – Growth

    The fund at No. 1 has given a 19.55 per cent annualised return in 10 years.

    It has an asset under management (AUM) of Rs 3,739 crore, while its net asset value as on July 9, 2025, was Rs 129.26.

    Benchmarked against Nifty Large Midcap 250 TRI, the fund has given 19.09 per cent annualised return since its debut in January 2013.

    With an expense ratio of 0.64, the fund has Rs 1,000 as the minimum SIP investment and Rs 5,000 as the minimum lump sum investment.

    A Rs 12,500 monthly investment in the fund in 10 years has converted into Rs 46,42,325.06.

    HDFC Large and Mid Cap Fund – Direct Plan – Growth

    The fund at No. 1 has given a 19.03 per cent annualised return in the 10-year time frame.

    It has an asset under management (AUM) of Rs 26,849 crore, while its net asset value as on July 9, 2025, was Rs 363.298.

    Benchmarked against Nifty Large Midcap 250 TRI, the fund has given 14.46 per cent annualized return (CAGR) since its inception in January 2013.

    With an expense ratio of 0.85, the fund has Rs 500 as the minimum SIP investment and Rs 1,000 as the minimum lump sum investment.

    A Rs 12,500 monthly investment in the fund in 10 years has grown to Rs 44,89,364.13.
