Juventus hope to make two sales to provide funds for three new signings

    August 19, 2025

Reports in Italy suggest that Juventus are hoping to complete the sales of two first-team players, which the club hopes will raise the necessary funds to bring in three new summer signings before the end of the transfer window.

Which players do Juventus hope to sell this summer?

Juventus are ‘increasingly likely’ to part ways with Douglas Luiz following a phone call between general manager Damien Comolli and Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis on Monday evening.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri have been aiming to raise around €40m through the sale of the Brazilian in order to avoid making a capital loss on him. Updates suggest that Forest are closing in on a final agreement for a fee just over €30m instead, though.

Meanwhile, The Pink Paper claims that Juventus are still hoping to agree a sale of Nico Gonzalez, who the club thinks could bring in a further €30m. Tuesday’s report claims that the sales of Nico and Douglas would bring in around €70m in revenue, although that could eventually look more like €60m.

If those sales are to go through, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Juventus will target three new signings, beginning with the return of 2024-25 loanee Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain. He is expected to come in on loan with an option to buy.

There have also been talks of a move for Atletico Madrid’s World Cup winner Nahuel Molina, who is expected to be available for a price in the region of €25m according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

It would also take a similar fee (€25m) to sign Lille winger Edon Zhegrova, who is into the final year of his contract with Ligue 1 side Lille.
