The scheme, which invests across large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap companies, has delivered a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.24% since inception.
A lump sum of ₹1 lakh invested at the fund’s inception is now worth ₹22.6 lakh.
The fund, currently managed by Sanjay Chawla, Chief Investment Officer – Equity, has assets under management (AUM) of ₹2,900 crore. It has maintained a beta of less than 0.9, reflecting relatively lower volatility compared with its benchmark.
While the fund has demonstrated long-term wealth creation, market analysts emphasise that returns from equity schemes are subject to market risks and can fluctuate depending on economic conditions and sectoral performance.
Experts highlight that compounding is most effective when investments are sustained over decades, similar to wealth built through ELSS, PPF, and long-term insurance policies.
