Rare Earths, Energy and Crypto Drive Six New Themes ETF Launches – Albemarle (NYSE:ALB), Leverage Shares 2X Long ALB Daily ETF (NASDAQ:ALBG)

    January 15, 2026

Leverage Shares by Themes is amplifying single-stock trading.

The ETF issuer on Tuesday rolled out six new leveraged single-stock ETFs, giving traders 2x daily exposure to a mix of clean energy, critical minerals, defense tech and crypto-mining names.

The funds aim to deliver twice the daily performance of their underlying stocks, whether the market is rising or falling.

The new lineup offers exposure to USA Rare Earth Inc (NASDAQ:USAR), Ondas Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:ONDS), Plug Power Inc (NASDAQ:PLUG), Albemarle Corp (NYSE:ALB), Hut 8 Corp (NASDAQ:HUT) and Energy Fuels Inv (NYSE:UUUU). These companies are tied to some of the market’s most volatile sectors. That includes rare earth supply chains, uranium, electrification, and digital assets.

    The six ETFs are:

    • Leverage Shares 2X Long USAR Daily ETF (NASDAQ:USGG)
    • Leverage Shares 2X Long ONDS Daily ETF (NASDAQ:ONDG)
    • Leverage Shares 2X Long PLUG Daily ETF (NASDAQ:PLUL)
    • Leverage Shares 2X Long ALB Daily ETF (NASDAQ:ALBG)
    • Leverage Shares 2X Long HUT Daily ETF (NASDAQ:HUTG)
    • Leverage Shares 2X Long UUUU Daily ETF (NASDAQ:UUUG)

Each fund carries a 0.75% management fee, which Themes says is an industry low for single-stock leveraged ETFs.

The launch also highlights a broader industry arms race around leveraged single-stock products. On the same day as Themes, Tradr ETFs debuted four new 2x daily leveraged ETFs tied to critical metals, automation software and defense-linked technology, including products tracking USA Rare Earth, Ondas Holdings and Critical Metals Corp.

The overlap—particularly around rare earths and defense-adjacent names—highlights how issuers are racing to meet trader demand driven by geopolitics, national security concerns and renewed focus on supply chains.

With multiple issuers now offering leveraged exposure to the same volatile names, competition in the category is intensifying, even as assets continue to flow in.

Paul Marino, chief revenue officer at Themes ETFs, said the new funds are designed to give traders efficient, transparent tools to express short-term, high-conviction views without directly trading derivatives.

With these launches, Leverage Shares by Themes now offers 71 leveraged single-stock daily ETFs.
