Sip & Meet Wine Market « Euro Weekly News

    April 25, 2026

Barolo or a Chianti classico? Italian wine lovers in Estepona can pop a date in their diaries for the Gran Vino Select Sip & Meet Wine Market on Thursday, April 30, from 6pm to 8pm, at its premises on Calle Naranjo 49, Bloque 2, Local 4.

The evening is refreshingly simple and straightforward. No lectures, no formality, just a relaxed gathering where guests can explore a hand-picked selection of wines from small, independent Italian producers. These are labels that rarely make it onto Spanish shelves, wines from growers who, as Gran Vino Select puts it, ‘prioritise authentic terroir expression over mass-market appeal’.

Connect with like minded people in a relaxed atmosphere

Expect to discover bottles from some of Italy’s most interesting wine regions, brought to Estepona through Gran Vino Select’s network of carefully chosen partners. Among them is Agricola Ladogana, a four-generation organic family winery from Puglia’s Orta Nova, regarded as one of Italy’s most respected names in organic wine. Then there is Selezione Fattorie, representing a portfolio of small Italian producers across European markets.

The evening is open to anyone who loves wine and fancies an evening to, as it says, Sip and Meet. Wine lovers and hospitality professionals joining the event make it a perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded people over something they genuinely enjoy talking about. Special event pricing will also be available on the night for those who find a favourite they want to take as a gift for someone special or simply to enjoy at home.

Get to understand the wines and even take some home

Gran Vino Select sources wines that tell a story and bottles that reflect the soil, climate, and generations of knowledge behind them. The Sip & Meet evenings are the simplest way to understand what Gran Vino Select is about, good wine, good people, and no pretension. Come along, whether it is your first time or you already know what to expect, to taste some irresistible Italian grape.

The event is held on Thursday, April 30, from 6pm to 8pm at Calle Naranjo 49, Bloque 2, Local 4. For more details call 622 29 52 22 or visit the website.
