    Headquartered in New Jersey, Lord Abbett was founded in 1929. The asset management firm is privately held with 54 partners and 164 investment professionals. The firm actively manages 61 mutual funds, which include U.S. equities, global equities, multi-asset and fixed income with various strategies that strive to outperform its benchmarks and competitors.

    The U.S equities funds include the following stocks: growth, small cap, value, mid cap and the alpha strategy, which is a combination of smaller, mid-sized and international companies.

    Lord Abbett’s goal is to generate returns from a long-term perspective based on comprehensive research and well-defined risk management. The firm also manages Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities, known as UCITS funds, as well as institutional and separately managed accounts.
