Amundi launches memory chip and data centre ETFs

    July 23, 2026

Amundi has expanded its thematic ETF range with two new funds targeting the artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure build-out.

The Amundi Global Memory Chips UCITS ETF aims to provide exposure to the technology ‘unlocking the AI data bottleneck’ by  globally targeting companies benefiting from demand for data storage, AI infrastructure, and the current ongoing supply/demand imbalance supporting memory pricing.

The Amundi Global Data Center UCITS ETF seeks to provide exposure to companies active across the whole data center ecosystem and value chain including power, cooling, networking, and digital infrastructure.

Benoit Sorel, head of ETF and index business line at Amundi, said: “Thematic ETFs are increasingly used by both retail and institutional investors as a way to express specific long-term convictions with greater selectivity.

“These two new strategies are designed to provide targeted access to segments of the market that may drive the next wave of innovation.

“They are the latest addition to an ambitious roadmap for our thematic range, which  we will continue to build out over the remainder of 2026.”
