National Savings and Investment (NS&I) has announced the September 2025 winners.
Only two lucky winners claimed the top £1 million prize this month, with the first being claimed by a winner from County Durham with the bond number 224BZ748917.
The owner’s winning bond was valued at £30,000 and was purchased in June 2014 with an overall holding of £50,000.
The second Premium Bonds winner to claim £1 million is from Cumbria with the bond number 243VC581367.
The winner has an overall holding of £50,000 with the winning bond worth £9,480, purchased in April 2015.

Every month, only two winners take home £1 million, but plenty of other prizes are available with Bonds also able to win £100,000, £50,000, £25,000, £10,000 and more prizes.

Prize draws are conducted every month and prizes up to £1,000,000 are given away.
To find out if you have ever won a Premium Bonds prize, you will need to dig out your holder’s information and head over to the prize checker.
