    Wall Street : limite la casse, grosse inversion sur T-Bonds -Le 04 mars 2025 à 23:04

    Wall Street clôture dans le rouge mais alors que la situation devenait très tendue pour le Nasdaq (-2,1% vers 17H, et -5% depuis le 1er janvier), quelques rachats à bon compte ont permis de bien limiter la casse (notamment sur Nvidia, Palantir et Tesla).

    La lourdeur -très présente la veille- a persisté sur le Dow Jones et le S&P500 (-1,5% et -1,25% respectivement) suite à l’annonce surprise de l’application immédiate de ‘tarifs’ douaniers punitifs infligé au Canada, Mexique, Chine lundi soir.

    Le Canada annonce mettre en place des mesures de taxation réciproque et Doug Ford, premier ministre de l’Ontario, annonce même vouloir couper le courant aux Etats des Grands Lacs (qui se trouvent être le plus souvent Démocrates, c’est à dire proches politiquement du gouvernement canadien).
    Certains stratèges, estimant que les ‘tarifs’ annoncé par Trump vont avoir un effet boomerang sur la croissance de l’économie US qui présente quelques signes de fragilité.

    L’un des ‘faits du jour, c’est la poussé de fièvre du ‘VIX’ qui a grimpé de +10% et franchi le cap des 265 (+70% en 6 séances) avant de se détendre vers 23,5 (+3,5%).
    Cette petite inversion de la dynamique du ‘VIX’ provoque une amorce de consolidation sur l’obligataire: les T-Bonds qui se détendaient de -5Pts vers 4,13% (15Pts de ‘spread’ avec le ‘3 mois’, signe précurseur de récession) en terminent sur une dégradation de +7Pts vers 4,25% (12Pts d’écart en 6 heures, c’est énorme).
