European asset manager Amundi has launched three active ETFs providing investors exposure to global, European and Eurozone equity markets.
Listed on Germany’s Xetra exchange, the new ETFs mark Amundi’s entry into active equity ETFs. The funds combine fundamental analysis with quantitative stock selection to identify investment opportunities and aim to outperform their respective benchmark indices while maintaining balanced risk through diversification, according to the provider.
The launch, comprising Amundi World Equity Enhanced Active Ucits ETF, Amundi Europe Equity Enhanced Active
Ucits ETF and Amundi Eurozone Equity Enhanced Active Ucits ETF, forms part of Amundi’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the active ETF market. The asset manager aims to expand its active ETF range to 20 products by 2028.
European investors plan higher active ETF allocations
According to Amundi, equity strategies currently account for 73% of inflows into active Ucits ETFs in Europe, reflecting growing investor demand for actively managed investment solutions within the ETF structure.
Amundi also highlighted increasing investor interest in systematic and quantitative investment strategies, which combine data-driven techniques with active portfolio management.
