GraniteShares has filed for two proposed leveraged exchange-traded funds designed to provide 2x long and 2x short daily exposure to Anthropic, the artificial intelligence company behind Claude.
The proposed GraniteShares 2x Long Anthropic Daily ETF, ticker AIL, would seek investment results before fees and expenses corresponding to 200% of Anthropic’s daily performance.
The GraniteShares 2x Short Anthropic Daily ETF, ticker ANS, would seek -200% of Anthropic’s daily performance.
The filings expand GraniteShares’ growing lineup of leveraged single-stock products and would give traders tools for expressing either bullish or bearish short-term views on Anthropic.
There is one major prerequisite: Anthropic is still privately held.
GraniteShares said the proposed ETFs depend on Anthropic becoming publicly traded and meeting the regulatory and listing requirements needed for the funds to begin operations.
The timing and terms of any potential Anthropic initial public offering remain uncertain, and the company has not completed a public offering.
Both proposed funds are expected to use derivatives and other financial instruments to pursue their daily investment objectives.
The ETFs are designed around single-day performance rather than long-term replication.
Because leverage resets daily, compounding can cause returns over multiple days to vary materially from two times or negative two times Anthropic’s cumulative performance over the same period.
GraniteShares specifically positions leveraged and inverse products for knowledgeable investors who understand leverage, daily resetting, compounding and the possibility of significant losses.
GraniteShares managed approximately $14.5 billion in assets as of June 30, 2026 across products including leveraged single-stock ETFs, YieldBOOST income ETFs, autocallable ETFs, commodities, gold and core equity strategies.
