Morgan Stanley has filed for three new active income ETFs managed by subsidiary Eaton Vance, according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The proposed funds are the Eaton Vance Strategic Income Opportunities ETF, Eaton Vance CLO Investment Grade Income ETF and the Eaton Vance High Yield Municipal Income ETF. None of the funds yet list ticker symbols or management fees.
The Eaton Vance Strategic Income Opportunities ETF has a ‘flexible’ investment strategy according to its prospectus. The ETF would be able to invest in a wide variety of fixed income securities including mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities and collateralized loan obligations. It would be managed by Andrew Szczurowski, Justin H. Bourgette, Brian Shaw and Brandon Matsui.
