US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Pull In $2.39B in Biggest Weekly Inflow Since 2025

    September 28, 2026

U.S. spot Bitcoin (CRYPTO: $BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded $2.39 billion in net inflows last week, marking their strongest weekly performance since October 2025 and exceeding the previous 2026 high set in August.

The funds added $134.5 million on Friday, bringing the weekly total to $2.39 billion, according to SoSoValue. The figure surpassed the $1.92 billion recorded in August and came close to the $2.71 billion attracted during the week ending Oct. 10, 2025.

The surge also pushed Bitcoin ETF flows for 2026 into positive territory. Year-to-date net flows reached about $926 million on Friday, recovering from a deficit of roughly $5.55 billion recorded in early July.

    More From Cryptoprowl:

Inflows slowed later in the week after nearly $1 billion entered the funds on Monday. Markus Levin, co-founder of XYO, told Cryptoprowl that “the pace fell sharply as Bitcoin moved toward the mid-$80,000s.”

“The key test now is whether ETF inflows stabilize while Bitcoin holds its recent gains. If that happens, it would suggest the market is absorbing the higher price rather than losing institutional interest,” Levin said.

Meanwhile, Simon-Peter Massabni, head of business development at XS.com, said that Bitcoin’s outlook this week will depend heavily on the JOLTS report on September 29, the PCE release on September 30, and the nonfarm payrolls report on October 2.

“If inflation or employment data come in above expectations, the case for another Fed rate hike will strengthen, placing additional pressure on Bitcoin,” Massabni said, adding that moderate or weaker-than-expected data could allow Treasury yields to ease and encourage capital to return to risk assets.

Demand also returned to other spot crypto ETFs. U.S. spot Ether (CRYPTO: $ETH) ETFs attracted about $690 million last week, reversing roughly $140 million in outflows the previous week. Spot XRP (CRYPTO: $XRP) ETFs recorded around $76 million in net inflows.
