Russell Investments partners Unio on Irish funds

    September 21, 2026

Investment solutions provider Russell Investments has partnered with Unio Wealth Management, backed by Great-West Lifeco of the Irish Life Group, to launch a range of global multi-asset funds for investors in Ireland.

The launch, Unio Way Fund Range, will be available to Unio clients and will offer “cautious, balanced and growth strategies” aligned with different risk appetites, investment objectives and time horizons, shared the providers.

The funds will invest globally across different asset classes, regions and investment styles, with Russell Investments handling portfolio construction, manager research and selection and investment management.

The firms said the strategies will use active risk management and global diversification.

Jim Leggate, head of Emea at Russell Investments, said: “We are proud to enter into this partnership with Unio and deliver a range of multi-asset solutions that we believe will significantly benefit investors in Ireland. Today, clients face a complex market environment and need access to the right tools and expertise to help them achieve their long term financial goals. Comprehensive investment solutions built around diversification, active management and strong governance are therefore increasingly important.”

Derek Buckley, MD at Unio Wealth Management, said: “Our partnership with Russell Investments is about giving investors in Ireland access to a more diversified, disciplined way of investing and delivering an institutional-grade offering to individuals. We believe that Ireland’s next phase of wealth creation will be driven by investing rather than saving. As such, accessing the best globally diversified opportunity while actively managing risk will, in our view, support financial planning and lead to better long-term outcomes.”
