    Deux nouveaux ETF thématiques actifs chez Aberdeen Investments

    Aberdeen Investments lance deux nouveaux ETF actifs, conçus pour tirer parti de deux mégatendances porteuses.

    Les deux ETF actifs que lance Aberdeen Investments (369 M£ d’encours sous gestion, au 30 juin 2024) ont été créés pour tirer parti de deux thèmes moteurs de profonds changements économiques dans le monde : la refonte des chaînes d’approvisionnement et la transformation de la demande en matières premières. Il s’agit des trackers abrdn Future Supply Chains UCITS (0,60 % de frais) et abrdn Future Raw Materials UCITS (0,45 % de frais).

    Ceux-ci adopteront une approche « hybride », combinant capacités de recherche quantitative et expertises de l’équipe actions mondiales d’Aberdeen. Enregistrés dans huit pays en Europe, ils complètent la gamme thématique du gestionnaire, qui comprenait déjà les fonds abrdn Future Real Estate UCITS et abrdn Sicav I – Future Minerals Fund.

    Plus vert et plus intelligent

    abrdn Future Supply Chains UCITS sera géré par Blair Couper et Jamie Mills O’Brien. Le portefeuille sera investi à l’échelle mondiale dans des sociétés bien placées pour bénéficier de la transformation des chaînes d’approvisionnement, des technologies et des systèmes énergétiques. abrdn Future Raw Materials UCITS, lui, sera piloté par Oliver Wood-Clark, avec David Clancy.

    Il s’intéressera aux entreprises actives dans l’exploration, l’extraction et le raffinage des matières premières « de demain ». Ils se concentrera sur plusieurs matériaux « essentiels » : cuivre, aluminium, lithium, nickel et minéraux rares.

    « Les tensions commerciales, l’intensification des guerres technologiques et la demande croissante en nouveaux matériaux redéfinissent les chaînes mondiales de production de biens et de services, est-il souligné dans un communiqué de la société de gestion.

    Ces dynamiques stimulent également la demande de matières premières nécessaires à la construction d’un monde plus vert et plus intelligent. Aberdeen identifie des opportunités prometteuses pour les investisseurs qui souhaitent soutenir les entreprises les mieux positionnées dans cette transformation mondiale. »
