    Le portefeuille de Hearts and Minds Investments chute de près de 9 % en mars

    Opthea Limited est une société biopharmaceutique australienne en phase clinique. La société développe de nouvelles thérapies pour répondre aux besoins non satisfaits dans le traitement des maladies rétiniennes prévalentes et progressives, y compris la dégénérescence maculaire liée à l’âge (DMLA) et l’œdème maculaire diabétique (OMD). Son principal produit candidat, le sozinibercept (OPT-302), est évalué dans le cadre de deux essais cliniques clés de phase 3, en association avec des monothérapies anti-VEGF-A standard pour le traitement de la DMLA humide et de l’OMD. La société a également fabriqué l’OPT-302 pour les essais cliniques de phase III, mène des activités de soutien à la commercialisation du produit et a élargi son équipe de gestion aux États-Unis pour faciliter la supervision et l’exécution de son programme de phase III. Ses activités de développement sont basées sur un portefeuille de propriété intellectuelle couvrant des cibles clés (facteurs de croissance endothéliale vasculaire VEGF-C, VEGF-D et récepteur VEGF-3).
