    Moneysupermarket launches investment platform powered by Seccl

    Moneysupermarket has launched an investment platform offering investments from £1.

    Investments by Moneysupermarket is powered by Seccl and includes zero trading fees alongside a 0.34 per cent annual platform fee.

    Customers can choose from 40 funds and ETFs and can invest through a stocks-and-shares Isa or general investment account.

    Lis Barton, chief customer officer at Moneysupermarket, said: “For over 30 years, Moneysupermarket has helped households save money, and now we’re helping them invest it too.

    “This is a major step in our journey to becoming a financial companion for our customers, helping people manage their finances today and take action to grow their money for the future.”

    The platform is powered by Seccl, which is part of Octopus Group, while Vanguard is the multi-asset provider.

    James Holmes, chief product officer at Seccl, said: “We’re proud to provide the infrastructure behind Moneysupermarket’s new investment proposition, helping it bring investing into a trusted app where people already compare, save and make financial decisions. It’s a powerful example of how embedded investing can make wealth-building simpler and more accessible for UK consumers.”

    The ready-made portfolios on offer include Vanguard LifeStrategy funds and self-directed investments, including individual funds and ETFs such as S&P 500 tracker funds.

    Benjamin Summers, head of Vanguard UK, added: “LifeStrategy provides a diversified portfolio in a single fund, making long-term investing simpler and more accessible.”
