Moneysupermarket has launched an investment platform offering investments from £1.

Investments by Moneysupermarket is powered by Seccl and includes zero trading fees alongside a 0.34 per cent annual platform fee.

Customers can choose from 40 funds and ETFs and can invest through a stocks-and-shares Isa or general investment account.

Lis Barton, chief customer officer at Moneysupermarket, said: “For over 30 years, Moneysupermarket has helped households save money, and now we’re helping them invest it too.

James Holmes, chief product officer at Seccl, said: “We’re proud to provide the infrastructure behind Moneysupermarket’s new investment proposition, helping it bring investing into a trusted app where people already compare, save and make financial decisions. It’s a powerful example of how embedded investing can make wealth-building simpler and more accessible for UK consumers.”

The ready-made portfolios on offer include Vanguard LifeStrategy funds and self-directed investments, including individual funds and ETFs such as S&P 500 tracker funds.

Benjamin Summers, head of Vanguard UK, added: “LifeStrategy provides a diversified portfolio in a single fund, making long-term investing simpler and more accessible.”
