Over 10 years, the fund delivered 14.25%, against 14.84% for the Nifty Smallcap 250 Index. Over 15 years, the fund’s return stood at 19.03%, compared with 15.75% for the benchmark. Since inception, the scheme delivered 15.02%, versus 14.67% for the index, according to the fund house.
Akhil Kalluri, Portfolio Manager, Franklin India Small Cap Fund, said the fund would continue to focus on identifying fundamentally strong businesses with scalable growth potential.
