    HDFC Bank to Axis Bank: Mutual funds with the highest exposure to private lenders

    HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank have recorded different stock price movements so far in 2026. Mutual fund schemes also have varying levels of exposure to these stocks, according to Trendlyne data.

    HDFC Bank is down 30% year-to-date, while ICICI Bank is up 6.4%. Axis Bank is down 0.66% year-to-date.

    The mutual fund exposure figures are based on portfolio holdings as of July 31, 2026.

    Mutual funds with the highest HDFC Bank exposure

    HDFC Bank is down 30% year-to-date.

    Among the schemes listed, DSP Large Cap Fund has the highest exposure to HDFC Bank at 9.58%. Nippon India Large Cap Fund follows with 9.12%, while Motilal Oswal Large Cap Fund has 9.06%.

    Mirae Asset Large Cap Fund has 8.91% exposure, followed by UTI Large Cap Fund at 8.87% and HSBC Large Cap Fund at 8.54%.

    DSP Flexi Cap Fund has 8.52% exposure to HDFC Bank, while Axis Large Cap Fund and Bandhan Flexi Cap Fund have 8.40% each. Parag Parikh Large Cap Fund has 8.31% exposure.

    Mahindra Manulife Large Cap Fund has 8.26% exposure, Groww Large Cap Fund 8.22%, ICICI Prudential Large Cap Fund 8.21%, PGIM India Large Cap Fund 8.20%, SBI Large Cap Fund 8.17% and Canara Robeco Large Cap Fund 8.06%.

    ICICI Bank exposure across mutual fund schemes

    ICICI Bank is up 6.4% year-to-date.

    DSP Business Cycle Fund has the highest exposure to ICICI Bank among the schemes listed, at 9.88%. HDFC Large Cap Fund follows at 9.86%, while HSBC Financial Services Fund has 9.83%.

    DSP ELSS Fund has 9.79% exposure, while ICICI Prudential Value Fund has 9.77%. DSP Large Cap Fund has 9.75% exposure and DSP Focused Fund has 9.73%.

    Mahindra Manulife Large Cap Fund and WhiteOak Capital Large Cap Fund each have 9.70% exposure. Mahindra Manulife ELSS Fund has 9.67%, followed by 360 ONE Focused Fund at 9.58% and LIC MF Large Cap Fund at 9.57%.

    WhiteOak Capital Quality Fund has 9.56% exposure, while WhiteOak Capital ESG Fund has 9.55%.

    Axis Bank exposure

    Axis Bank is down 0.66% year-to-date.

    ICICI Prudential Equity Minimum Variance Fund has the highest exposure to Axis Bank among the schemes listed, at 8.02%.

    Aditya Birla Sun Life Banking and Financial Services Fund has 7.76% exposure, followed by ICICI Prudential Children’s Fund at 7.72% and Mirae Asset Banking and Financial Services Fund at 7.60%.

    Taurus Banking and Financial Services Fund has 7.50% exposure, while HDFC Banking and Financial Services Fund has 7.43%. Bharat 22 ETF has 7.40% exposure and Canara Robeco Banking and Financial Services Fund has 7.39%.

    HDFC Focused Fund and Nippon India Focused Fund have allocations of 6.60% and 6.58%, respectively.
