A new open-late café arrived in Minneapolis’ Uptown neighborhood this month.
Sip Society Coffee, located inside the Inspire Apartments near the intersection of Emerson Avenue South and West 29th Street, will celebrate its official grand opening on Sunday.

The café, founded by local entrepreneur Sacad Guled, serves coffee, tea, smoothies, and other beverages, as well as pastries, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, paninis, and more.
Guled, who grew up in south Minneapolis, said he wanted to give back to his community with the opening of Sip Society Coffee.
“It’s not your typical coffee shop,” he said, noting Sip Society Coffee serves pizza from Northeast Minneapolis’ Football Pizza and will stay open daily until the evening.
Sip Society Coffee is open Sunday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
