    Paint and Sip Class in Yosemite National Park

    MADERA & MARIPOSA COUNTY — Yosemite National Park hosts a “Paint and Sip” class at the Yosemite Valley Lodge. Come experience the beauty of the park while enjoying a delightful beverage all while learning to use watercolors, guided by an experienced instructor.

    Enjoying the Art and Nature

    Looking for a creative way to enjoy the natural beauty of Yosemite National Park?  Consider joining this Paint and Sip class.  This unique event combines the joy of painting and the one of a kind scenery of the National Park.  Therefore, whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, this class offers a chance to learn watercolor painting in a supportive and relaxed setting.

    What is a Paint and Sip Class?

    To start, a Paint and Sip class is an event where guests can learn to paint while enjoying a drink of their choice.  In this class, the focus will be on watercolor painting, allowing each participant the chance to create their own Yosemite landscape.  Guided by a professional instructor, guests will learn the basics of watercolor techniques and efficient color mixing.

    The best part? No prior painting experience is needed!  This class is perfect for all skill levels, from those who have never picked up a paint brush to those who are masters of the craft.  Consequently, the goal is to have fun and enjoy yourself.  Use this as a time to learn something new and enjoy the company of others while surrounded by Yosemite’s majestic scenery.

    For a registration fee of $56 per person, participants will get everything they need to create their masterpiece.  Theses items include…

    • Painting Supplies
    • Pre-Drawn Sketch of Each Subject
    • Wine (or non-alcoholic beverage)
    • Cheese/Fruit Plate

    Who Can Participate?

    Thankfully, this class is open to anyone 12 and up.  It being a family friendly event, guests are more than welcome to bring friends, family, or anyone who might enjoy a fun afternoon of painting.  However, all participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    When and Where?

    Registration can be done here. Be sure to register in advance online, as spots can fill up quickly.  Furthermore, registration is required by 10:00 AM on the day of your chosen class.
