If you’re a fan of the popular Bloody Mary cocktail, you’re gonna want to know about this!
Barts Bar Beverages, right here in Texas, just won BIG at the 2024 SIP Awards, taking home the Platinum Medal – Best of Class for their Premium Bloody Mary Mix. That’s right, they nailed the top spot in the Bloody Mary Mixer category, and they’re pretty pumped about it—and you should be too!
Barts Bar Beverages founder and owner, Mason Askins said in a press release, “We have enjoyed participating in the SIP Awards over the last few years and we are so honored to win Best in Class Platinum this year. Our mix is handmade and bottled in Texas and we are excited to share the best Bloody Mary with the world! The SIP Awards are judged by consumers, which makes this honor even greater. Now, what’s cool about the SIP Awards is that it’s not just industry folks giving their opinions. It’s real people—consumers like you and me—who are judging the competition. So, when Barts won Best of Class, it means their mix is REALLY hitting the spot with Bloody Mary fans. They also scored a Double Gold Medal for their Michelada Mixer.
In case you don’t know what a Michelada is exactly, here’s how Google described it:
A michelada is a Mexican beer cocktail that’s made with beer, lime juice, salt, and some kind of heat, such as hot sauce or chile powder. It’s often served in a chilled glass with a salted rim.
Founder Mason Askins, from Midland, Texas, said they’re honored to win and that their mix is handmade right here in the Lone Star State. It all started with Mason’s buddy Bart, who used to make the best Bloody Marys for friends. Now, with Bart’s blessing, that mix is bottled up and ready for the world!
