The Royal Order of Kamehameha I, Heiau O Kahekili, Helu ‘Ehā and Nā Wahine O Kamehameha, Moku O Kahekili, Helu ‘Ehā will be awarding $1,000 scholarships to two outstanding college students for the 2024-2025 school year.
Alana Jolyn Symons-Amorin is a 2024 graduate of Baldwin High Schol. She will be attending Utah Tech University, pusuing a career in the Medical field. Her parents are Carlene Symons and Mack Amorin.
Ku’umana Sumie Bailey is a 2022 graduate of Kamehameha Schools Maui. She is currently attending the University of Idaho, studying Animal Science, to pursue a career as a Veterinarian. Her parents are Timothy and Cathleen Bailey.
Each year exemplary kama’āina high school students are given scholarship awards based on merit and the applicant’s commitment to furthering their education.
