Join the 41st Annual Wine & Roses: Sip, savor, and support wellness in Pajaro Valley!

    October 25, 2024

On November 9, the community is invited to come together for the 41st annual Wine & Roses event—a cherished celebration dedicated to promoting wellness and health equity in the Pajaro Valley.

Wine & Roses promises a memorable evening featuring the region’s finest wines, craft beers, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and beautiful locally grown roses. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with friends and family while enjoying delightful food and drink, all for a great cause. Our silent auction will feature unique items, including double magnums from local wineries, as well as international trips and fun experiences.

“Wine & Roses is a testament to the power of community,” said DeAndre’ James, Executive Director of the Community Health Trust of Pajaro Valley (CHT). “The support we receive from local businesses and individuals is truly inspiring. Together, we’re making a meaningful impact and paving the way for a healthier future for all.”

This year, funds raised will directly support the development of the Community Health Trust’s upcoming wellness center, Centro de Bienestar. Located in downtown Watsonville (112 E. Beach St), this vibrant community hub will unify CHT’s wellness services under one roof. By centralizing resources, efforts to promote healthy and active lifestyles, prevent illness, support those facing chronic health challenges, and improve overall quality of life will be strengthened. This transformation is essential to CHT’s commitment to ensuring that healthy living is accessible to everyone in Pajaro Valley, regardless of background or income.

Every ticket purchased supports vital programs, helping to continue this mission. “When attendees join us for Wine & Roses, they are not only participating in an event—they are part of a movement to enhance health and wellness in the community,” James added.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 4-7 PM at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. Guests can look forward to tastings from 18 notable vintners, breweries, and cideries, including Bargetto Winery, Integrity Wines, Fruition Brewing, and Santa Cruz Cider Co. Additionally, 15 local restaurants, including My Mom’s Mole and La Perla Del Pacifico, will showcase their delicious food via hors d’oeuvres.
