Premium Bonds – Three winners scoop £50,000 in County Durham

    February 16, 2026

Each of these winners from the region received £50,000 in the February 2026 draw. The lucky bonds were purchased in January 2016, March 2022, and April 2022.

Other big wins in the county included two £25,000 prizes and a £10,000 prize.

Smaller wins of £1,000 were also awarded to four bondholders.

Premium Bonds holders across the UK have the chance to win prizes in monthly draws, with prizes of up to £1,000,000.

How to check if you have won on Premium Bonds

You can check your account via the NS&I website.

Prize draws are conducted every month and prizes of up to £1,000,000 are given away.

To find out if you have ever won a Premium Bonds prize, you will need to dig out your holder’s information and head over to the prize checker.

You will need your holder’s number, which you can find on your bond record or in the app.

You can also use your NS&I number, which you should be able to find on any communication about your bonds.

Premium Bonds are the UK’s biggest savings product, with more than 24 million people saving over £122 billion in them, according to Money Saving Expert.
